The Principal of Hughes Law LLC, Imogene Hughes, approaches her client’s problems with practical and common sense solutions, recognizing the financial and emotional impacts of workplace disputes. Ms. Hughes is dedicated to being responsive to her clients’ needs and to achieving optimum results in a cost effective manner. Hughes Law LLC provides a wide variety of employment related services, including:

  • Counseling on federal and state employment statutes and regulations
  • Drafting employment, executive compensation, and severance agreements
  • Resolving employment disputes and claims through negotiated settlement agreements and litigation.

Biography

Ms. Hughes has twenty-five years experience practicing in the areas of employment litigation and counseling. She has extensive experience representing both employers and individuals in negotiating and drafting employment agreements, executive compensation agreements and severance agreements. She has counseled a wide variety of clients in the employment area with respect to federal and state employment statutes and regulations, avoiding and minimizing litigation risks and the development and drafting of employee handbooks and policies.

She also specializes in the area of restrictive covenants and trade secrets, litigating and resolving disputes pertaining to restrictive covenants, trade secrets, unfair competition, breach of fiduciary duties and related topics.
